Habitat for Humanity Design/Build

2007 Competition Winning Entry

This competition consisted of designing a prototype home for Habitat for Humanity, with a focus on universal accessibility. It was open to third year and higher architecture students, and took place over just one weekend. Two designs were chosen as winners of the competition, with the intent being to further the design, create construction documents, and eventually build the home as part of a Habitat for Humanity build. This design was one of two winners. As of 2008, the home has been built and occupied!
